We reimagined this kitchen from top to bottom, taking it from dark and dated to a bright, modern Spanish-inspired space. The clients wanted something timeless but not traditional—something transitional with a clean, intentional focal point. That focus became the range and hood wall, a design choice that immediately grounds the kitchen and draws your eye.
Design Style: Modern Spanish Transitional
This kitchen is rooted in Spanish architecture, but the clients wanted to step away from the heavy, rustic finishes commonly seen in Spanish design. Instead, Kelly created a modern Spanish transitional style, balancing old-world architecture with fresh, contemporary lines.
We went with a soft off-white palette instead of stark white to keep the space warm and approachable. Every detail was chosen with intention, from the range hood to the finishes, ensuring the kitchen feels updated yet timeless.
